PREPARING FOR YOUR TRIP
Here are some of the things you will want to bring for sightseeing and wildlife observation: daypack, binoculars, camera and film,
field guides, sunscreen, insect repellent, water, your favorite snacks.
Weather can be quite changeable in the Rocky Mountains in any season, so plan on bringing the following: sturdy but comfortable
shoes or lightweight hiking boots, hat, windbreaker, rain jacket, warm pullover, gloves.
As we tour around the park, we will be at an altitude of approximately 7000'. Daytime temperatures in summer are likely to be in the 60's or 70's.
Afternoon thundershowers are possible.
